Overview

Content is everywhere and it is easy to be overwhelmed by multiple distractions in business as usual operations. There is a risk that important messages get lost and get treated as noise, thus, users miss critical information and are misdirected from their main objective. How do we ensure that business clients can reach the resources and services that they need? How can internal operations

Process

While working on the Shearman & Sterling rebrand, our design team was approached with a unique problem. The firm's Client Value Team and Global Technology Solutions Team recognized several challenges in the changing landscape of traditional legal services. Many clients were seeking advice outside of technical legal advice. The additional services sought were highly valued and often influenced client's buying decisions.

The task force was assembled to determine internal legal operations capabilities, understand and align to strongest areas of client needs. Once this was finalized, the design team stepped. As the lead designer working closely with the brand design manager and legal operations team, we discussed the plan of action for how to support the presentation of these initial service offerings.

By designing a platform to present the core offerings, the legal operations team can effectively determine and direct the support needed for setting up, managing, and maintaining internal operations.
